OUR MISSION
It Started with a Simple Question:
Where Did the Flavor Go?

Like most people, we grew tired of buying grocery store strawberries that looked perfect on the outside but tasted like absolutely nothing on the inside. We realized that modern agriculture had traded the soul of the strawberry for shipping durability. Berries were being bred to survive weeks in the back of a tractor-trailer, not to delight someone's tastebuds.
Roxmont Strawberry Co. was born out of a desire to change that right here in our own community. We wanted to see if we could bring back the legendary, sun-ripened sweetness of a true New England summer strawberry.
We didn't inherit a multi-generational empire; we started with a deep respect for the land, a massive learning curve, and a stubborn refusal to use synthetic chemicals. We chose to focus entirely on strawberries because we believe that doing one thing exceptionally well is better than doing ten things average.
Farming with Respect for the North Shore Ecosystem
To us, being a local farm means being a good neighbor to the environment. The coastal soil of Essex County has a rich agricultural history, and we view ourselves as its temporary caretakers.
From day one, we committed to 100% organic practices. That means we don't just avoid harmful pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and synthetic fertilizers because it's a trend. We avoid them because we live here, our kids eat these berries, and because we want to leave this soil healthier than we found it.
At Roxmont we work with nature instead of trying to dominate it. Because, when you take care of the soil, the soil takes care of the fruit.

WHO WE ARE
The People Behind Roxmont.
Roxmont is a small, hands-on organic strawberry farm in Beverly, Massachusetts. The same people planning the season are the ones in the field preparing soil, monitoring crops, and harvesting fruit.
That direct involvement keeps decisions practical, grounded, and focused on long-term quality.
